Schweppes introduces new bottle design
The Coca-Cola Company released new packaging for Schweppes tonic core range, while also launching a new, premium brand of Schweppes tonics and starting an advertising campaign. As numerous rival tonic brands flooded the market, Schweppes decided to take radical and costly action in order to fight back against new entrants.
Classic core range of this non-alcoholic drink now has the authentically shaped bottles resembling those used by the creator of the product Jacob Schweppe at the end of the 18th century.
In addition a new premium Schweppes range launched under the name of Schweppes 1783. Number indicates the year when the product was created back in the past.
